Newly appointed Odisha Congress in-charge tests COVID-19 positive

Bhubaneswar: The newly appointed Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) in-charge A Chella Kumar has tested positive for COVID-19, he informed it on his Twitter handle yesterday.

The AICC General Secretary is  currently under home isolation to prevent further spread of infection. He requested people those had come in contact with him in the recent days to undergo COVID test.

I have been tested positive for Covid-19.I would like to request to all those who had come in contact with me the past few days to get themselves tested as a precautionary measure.Stay Safe 🙏🏻

The All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Friday had appointed Congress parliamentarian Chella Kumar as the new in-charge of Odisha State Congress replacing Jitendra Singh.
