Newly-elected MLA injured in road accident in Odisha capital
Bhubaneswar: Souvic Biswal, newly-elected MLA of Cuttack-Choudwar assembly constituency, sustained minor injuries in a road accident in Odisha capital last night.
According to reports, Biswal and his friend were travelling to Cuttack from Bhubaneswar in a car. Around 11 pm, a vehicle hit the car from rear on NH-16 near Hanspal Chhak here, injuring the two.

On being informed, Mancheswar police reached the spot and rescued the duo. Traffic movement was temporarily affected on the road after the mishap.
