Bhubaneswar: CARE Hospitals, Bhubaneswar, in association with The Billion Knee Project and health & Harmony Trust, successfully hosted ‘CARE Rebound 2.0’, a landmark healthcare conclave aimed at fostering collaboration, education, and awareness in modern medical practices.

With Indian Association of Physiotherapy and Health & Harmony Trust as Knowledge Partners, this edition of CARE Rebound marked a powerful stride toward uniting healthcare professionals under a shared vision.

The objective of CARE Rebound 2.0 was to create a common platform for elite doctors and healthcare experts from across Odisha to engage in meaningful dialogue and exchange insights that contribute to a safe, healthy, and informed environment for the future of medical care.

The conclave also aimed to deliver a unique message to society, that multidisciplinary collaboration and continuous learning are key pillars of modern, patient-centric healthcare.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Odisha and Guest of Honour Surama Padhy, Speaker of Odisha Legislative Assembly.

The event also witnessed participation from key dignitaries including Renowned orthopaedic specialist Dr. Sandeep Singh, Head of Orthopaedics and Chief Consultant in Robotic Surgery & Sports Injury; Mr. Kislay Anand, Zonal Chief Operating Officer; Mr. Lokanath Dash, AVP, Marketing & Business Development, CARE Hospitals; senior doctors and medical professionals.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Odisha, said, “Initiatives like CARE Rebound are critical in shaping the future of healthcare in Odisha. By bringing together medical professionals from various disciplines, we are not just exchanging knowledge, we are building a robust healthcare ecosystem that is prepared for tomorrow’s challenges.”

Dr. Sandeep Singh, Head of Orthopaedics and Chief Consultant in Robotic Surgery & Sports Injury, CARE Hospitals, delivered a thought-provoking special address, emphasizing the role of advanced surgical techniques and rehabilitation in modern orthopaedic care.

“Robotic and advanced surgeries are changing the way we treat patients, making it safer, faster, and more accurate. But the real success of these technologies is when every patient, no matter where they live, can get access to the best treatment. Through awareness, early care, and proper rehabilitation, we can help people live healthier lives. CARE Rebound helps us spread this message and bring these benefits to more people across Odisha,” shared Dr. Sandeep Singh.

The keynote address was presented by Prof. (Dr.) Amlan Jyoti Mohanty, a pioneer in physiotherapy and the visionary Founder of Health & Harmony Trust, who inspired attendees with his deep commitment to integrative health practices and community outreach.

This year’s conclave saw participation from 60 physiotherapists across 30 districts of Odisha, alongside 16 distinguished delegates from Odisha and West Bengal, a testimony to the growing interest and need for collective learning in the fields of orthopaedics, physiotherapy, and sports injury management.
