Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) celebrated the International Day of Yoga 2025 with enthusiastic participation across all its mining units, head office, and regional offices.

The programme was organised aligning with this year’s theme — “Yoga for One Earth, One health” — highlighting the connection between personal well-being and the health of our planet.

Employees at various locations began their day with guided yoga sessions led by trained instructors. The sessions focused on asanas, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices that promote holistic wellness, reduce stress, and improve focus.

The celebration underscored OMC’s commitment to nurturing a healthier workforce and embedding wellness into its work culture.

In addition to its mining regions, OMC extended the celebration to its educational and community outreach platforms. Special yoga sessions were held in Odisha Mining Adarsh Vidyalayas (OMAVs), OMC-DAV Schools, and local community centres, involving students, teachers, and local residents.
