Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Society of the Americas (OSA), the largest and most structured organization of Odias living outside Odisha, marked a historic milestone by hosting its 56th Annual Convention in Dallas, Texas, USA. This year’s convention witnessed the largest gathering of Odias outside India, uniting individuals across generations from America and around the globe.
The prestigious Business Summit, a key segment of the convention, welcomed business and social leaders from Odisha and the United States to foster dialogue and build bridges of opportunity and growth. The event centered around the theme “ଏକତା ସଂସ୍କୃତି ସମୃଦ୍ଧି – Unity, Culture & Prosperity,” celebrating the rich heritage of Odisha while paving the way for collaborative progress.
The convention was graced by Dr. Sita Kantha Dash, a globally renowned scientist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Dr. Dash emphasized the unique significance of the OSA convention as a platform for cultural preservation, generational bonding, and global networking.
Dr Dash said,“OSA 2025 is more than a gathering—it is a movement rooted in cultural pride, unity, and a shared vision of prosperity. With a vibrant mix of reunions, literary readings, cultural performances, and meaningful discussions, this year’s celebration brings Odias closer together and inspires future generations to lead with legacy and purpose.”
