Night curfew relaxed in Odisha ahead of Raja festival

Bhubaneswar: Good news for residents amid COVID-19 restrictions as the State Government has decided to partially modify the timing of night curfew for one day tomorrow in view of Raja festival.

As per the order, the night curfew on June 12 will be effected from 10.00 pm instead of 7.00 pm in order to enable people to do their pre-festival shopping.

However, all other conditions of the official order dated June 1 and subsequent amendments thereto shall remain unchanged, a notification by Special Relief Commissioner today.

Worth mentioning, the State authorities have imposed night curfew from 7.00 pm to 5.00 am till June 30 directing people to stay indoors after the Centre announced to unlock COVID-19 restrictions in phases.
