Night temperature likely to remain unchanged in Odisha districts from November 9

Bhubaneswar: With no significant synoptic system lying over Odisha region, no major change is likely in the Minimum (night) temperature at many places over the districts of Odisha during next five days, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre forecasted today.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD mentioned, “Minimum temperatures observed marked fall at one or two places over the districts of South Interior Odisha, appreciable fall at a few places over the districts of South Interior Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha and no large change at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha. They were below normal at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, above normal at one or two places over the districts of Odisha and normal at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.”

The highest maximum temperature of 33.6°C was recorded at Jharsuguda and the lowest minimum temperature of 13.0°C was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.

For Wednesday (Valid up to 0830 hrs IST of 09.11.2023)

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

For Thursday (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 09.11.2023 to 0830 hrs IST of 10.11.2023)

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.
