Nine inter-state criminals nabbed in Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore, May 18:

Police today arrested nine inter-state criminals in Odisha’s district headquarters town Balasore.

Police have seized one oil tanker, two motor cycles and one SUV from their possession. A chopper has been also seized from them, sources said.

They have been identified as Ram Narayan Yadav, Pradip Kumar, Sheikh Feroze,  Samir Hussain, Labdig Singh, Prince Singh, Maheswar Das and Ranjit Das, sources added.

Notably, some miscreants had stolen fuel from a fuel filling station of Indian Oil Corporation under Rupsa police jurisdiction by chopping off its pipe and police had launched a manhunt to nab them.

These inter-state criminals were nabbed by the police during a surprise raid at a hotel here late on Tuesday night.

They are involved in several inter-state robberies, sources revealed.
