NIRF Ranking: 3 Universities from Odisha in Top 100 list

Bhubaneswar: Four educational institutions from Odisha have found place in Top-100 list, in overall category, as per the National Institutional Rankings Framework (NIRF) Ranking 2021.

In overall India Rankings 2022, Siksha O’ Anusandhan (SOA) University here bagged Top-30 position while KIIT, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela (NITR) and IIT Bhubaneswar have ranked 34 , 39 and 65, respectively, in the country. Besides, Utkal University has found place between Top 101 and 150 ranks.

In University category, three varsities from the state have found place in Top-100 list. While SOA University has ranked 16, KIIT bagged Top 20 and Utkal University got Top 90 spot. Besides, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) and CV Raman Global University has found place in Top 101-150 list.

As far as engineering colleges are concerned, NITR ranked Top 15, SOA got 27, IIT Bhubaneswar 36, KIIT 42 and CV Raman 98 spots. In research category, four educational institutions are in Top 100 list–NITR (24), IIT Bhubaneswar (37), SOA (45) and KIIT (47)

In medical education category, four educational institutions in the state have found place in Top 50 list–SOA (18), AIIMS (26), KIIT (30) and and SCB (44).

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced the rankings for this year today.
