NM Bhuyan Memo Tourney : Scan beat Paramount by 67 runs

Scan Sporting on Sunday registered an impressive win by beating Paramount Sporting by 67 runs in the third 40-40 match of the Old Monk Club Soda N.M Bhuyan Memorial Trophy being organised by the Mukteswar Cricket Club at the BJB College ground here.
Scan Sporting chose to bat first after winning the toss and went on to score 238 for the loss of 9 wickets with useful knocks from Gaurav Mohapatra (48), Santosh Debakanta (37)Rajesh Baliarsingh (34) and Dinesh Sahoo (33).

Paramount bowlers Mohammed Azhar and B.Siva claimed 3 and 2 wickets respectively.

Paramount Sporting lost wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for a paltry 171 in 36.3 overs despite a gritty half century by Mohammed Azhar (59).

Dinesh Sahoo (4/37) and Rabindra Nayak (3/31),the pick of the bowlers today, ran through the Paramount innings.

Dinesh Sahoo who was adjudged the Man of the Match received a cash award of Rs 1000 from Jayant Mishra, MD, Graffaitic
