Bhubaneswar: In view of the heat wave conditions in Odisha, the State Government today decided that classroom teaching for UG and PG students at colleges and universities will be suspended from April 27 to May 2.
However, other activities at the higher educational institutions such as examination, evaluation, administrative work, research work etc. will continue, informed Higher Education Department of the Odisha Government.
However, other activities of HEIs such as Examination, Evaluation, Administrative work, Research work, etc. shall continue as usual.

The government had yesterday announced closure of all schools in the state from April 26 to 30 due to the heat wave.
However, scheduled Matric and +2 examinations will continue despite the closure of the schools.
