No Exams: All Pass for Class 9, 11 students in Odisha this year

Bhubaneswar: Huge relief for students as well as their parents amidst second wave of the COVID-19 as the State Government decided to declare the students of Class 9 and 11 ‘All Pass’ this year.

A release from Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) today announced that the students of Class 9 and Class 11 in the academic session 2020-21 will be promoted to Class 10 and Class 12 respectively without appearing in any examination.

In view of rapid spread of COVID-19 infections in the State, the Government today announced to postpone the Class 10 and 12 board examinations scheduled this year.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has directed to suspend all the classes of 10th and 12th with effect from April 19.
