No lockdown or shutdown in Odisha on these days

Bhubaneswar: In order to ensure smooth conduct of the all-India JEE (Main) 2020 and NEET (UG) 2020, the Odisha Government today said there will be no lockdown or shutdown in force in the entire State from August 30 to September 7 and from September 12 to 14.

The move will help free movement of candidates and their guardian, examination personnel and staff/representatives of the service providers and logistics requirements connected to the two entrance exams, the Special Relief Commissioner’s Office said.

The government said, however, the regulations for observance of COVID-l9 protocols, such as social distancing, wearing of mask and no spitting in public place shall be strictly followed.
