No one has the guts to break Biju Janata Dal, says Tathagat

Odisha Sun Times Bureau
Bhubaneswar, Apr 5:

“No one has the guts to break Biju Janata Dal. None has the guts to cause damage to this party. Everyone in the BJD knows that the party is united for Naveen Patnaik. There is no crack in the party. The party has the blessing of Lord Jagannath. This party will remain powerful and will fight for justice for the people of Odisha,” stated BJD MP and the party’s Chief Whip Tathagat Satpathy in the Lok Sabha while talking to reporters today after his visit to the third floor of the State Secretariat which houses Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s office.

Though it was not clear whom Satpathy had visited, tongues are wagging that he was told by the party supremo to mend his ways.

It may be noted here that the Lok Sabha MP from Dhenkanal had created a flutter in the political circles here a little over a week back after taking to Twitter where he had alleged that the BJP is trying to divide the BJD in the Parliament and in assembly citing the split in AIADMK. He further went on to say that BJP is trying to take away the party name and symbol.

Though the editor of a vernacular daily didn’t specify any name, he had said that rumours are doing rounds about an MP to strike the deal for the national party. In the event of a split, the BJP will try for early elections in Odisha, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
