Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to sizzle under intense heat wave conditions at least till June 16 as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) today issued Orange Warning in this connection.
The agency said there will be no large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) during the next 5 days at many places over the districts of Odisha.
It is likely to be above normal by 4-6 degree Celsius at a few places over the districts of Odisha during the next 5 days, the IMD predicted.

June 13: Heat wave to severe heat wave condition very likely to prevail at a few places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Sonepur, Boudh and Bolangir (Orange Warning).
Heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Kandhamal, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Nayagarh, Khurda, Cuttack, Ganjam and Jajpur (Yellow Warning).
June 14: Heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the district of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, Boudh, Bolangir and Nuapada (Orange Warning).
June 15: Heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the district of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, Boudh and Bolangir (Orange Warning).
