Transport minister Ramesh Majhi announced that while fares for ordinary and express buses have been reduced by 01 paise per km, the fares for deluxe and AC deluxe buses have been reduced by 02 paise per km.
The new fares for ordinary and express buses would now be 63 paise and 66 paise per km respectively while the fares for deluxe and AC deluxe buses would now be 87 paise and Rs 1.06 paise respectively.
The new fares will come into effect from today, the minister informed.
