Bhubaneswar, Apr 20:

If you are not satisfied with the manual two-wheeler wash options available in Odisha capital, then you got an alternative in the form of an automated bike wash which has come up in the capital city.

The automated bike wash outlet has come up at HP petrol pump, opposite Kali Mandir in Baramunda area in the city.

As an introductory offer, the station is offering bike wash for Rs. 40 for first wash. The centre opens at 9 am and closes at 8 pm.

The startup Express Bike Wash (EBW) offers bike wash with automated machine which is the fastest in the world and washes a bike in 2 mins and has a record of washing over 230 bikes in under 10 hours.

Notably, this machine is made in India, designed, developed and manufactured by three passionate bikers who are IIT, IIM alumni.

Started with just one outlet in 2015 and one machine serving an OEM service station, EBW has grown exponentially in a short span of two years. They are operational in five other countries – Colombia, Rwanda, Indonesia, Thailand and Nepal along with having over 20 stores across India. Being a ‘Made in India’ brand, EBW has been designed, developed and manufactured in-house and has successfully serviced over 10 lakh bikes till date.

Along with providing the fastest bike wash service – 2-5 mins per bike, and using only 10 liters of water per bike, the EBW machine has an in-built recycling component which cleverly recycles the water till it is deemed unfit for further use. In-total, the company has been able to save 12 million liters of water in the last two years and developed greener surroundings around their outlets across destinations.
