Notification issued for three new universities in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, May 30:

Decks were cleared for setting up of three universities in Odisha after the state government issued a formal notification in this regard today.

The new universities are Ramadevi Mahila University, Bhubaneswar; Khallikote Cluster University, Brahmapur and Gangadhar Meher University, Sambalpur.

The Khallikote Cluster University has five colleges under it. They are Khallikote Autonomous College, Sashibhushan Rath Government College, Binayak Acharya College, Gopalpur College and Government Science College, Chhatrapur.

Three Officer on Special Duty (OSD) have been appointed for the three universities.

Prof Padmaja Mishra of Economics department of Utkal University, Prof Manmath Padhi, registrar of Berhampur University and former registrar and Prof Sudhanshu Sekhar Rath have been appointed as OSDs in Ramadevi Mahila University, Khallikote Cluster University and Gangadhar Meher University respectively.
