Notification out for Dhamnagar bypoll in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: An official notification was released today for bypoll to Dhamnagar Assembly Constituency in Bhadrak district.
As per the notification by the office of Sub Collector, Bhadrak, the last date for filing nomination papers is October 14 (Friday). The candidates can withdraw their candidature on October 17 (Monday).

The bye-election will be held on November 3 (Thursday). The counting of votes will take place on November 6 (Sunday).
The assembly seat in Dhamnagar is lying vacant since September 19 following demise of MLA Bishnu Charan Sethi. The senior BJP leader passed away while undergoing treatment at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.
