Guest limit cap for marriages, funerals remains unchanged in Cuttack

Cuttack: The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) has not changed the limit of the number of guests  in marriage related gatherings.

Like before, a maximum of 100 persons will be allowed for marriage-related gatherings and 50 persons will for funeral or last rites related events in the CMC areas, said an order issued by the CMC Commissioner on Thursday.

This order will be implemented with immediate effect.

The CMC’s order came after the state Government on November 30 issued revised guidelines, which will remain in force from December 1 to December 31.
