A day after a social organization filed a complaint against the actor-turned-politician Tatwa Prakash Satapathy alias Papu Pom Pom at the Mahila Police station in Odisha capital accusing him of exploiting and intimidating a minor girl in the guise of giving her break in the industry, a female actor has filed a complaint with the same police station against six persons from the entertainment industry on similar grounds.
Television actor Sarmistha Priyadarshini filed a complaint against six persons belonging to the regional film and television industry for sending lewd texts on social media platforms, seeking sexual favours and threatening her of dire consequences.
The actor filed the complaint against directors Tapas Sargaria and Chandi Parija, event manager Bapi Jena, producer Subrat Naik, husband-wife duo and tele serial producers Nihar Samal and Bini Samal.
The actor, in her complaint, alleged that Bapi Jena was forcing her to spend night with her in hotel.
Besides, she has alleged that Chandi Parija and Bini Samal were threatening her to throw out of television serials if she did not give in to their demands of ‘compromise’. In addition to this, they threatened her to ruin her career and eliminate here.
“Action should be initiated against these persons for what they have done with me. They should be punished for their acts,” the complainant Sarmistha Priyadarshini said.
Notably, Tapas Sargaria, Bapi Jena and Subrat Naik had earlier vehemently denied the allegations.

It may be mentioned here that the Ollywood industry is now mired in a controversy over casting couch and chit fund companies’ link allegations. Yesterday, a social organization—The Friends Foundation Trust—filed a complaint against actor-turned-politician Tatwa Prakash Satapathy alias Papu Pom Pom at the Mahila Police station in which it alleged that the popular actor exploited and intimidated a minor girl on the pretext of giving her a break in movies.
