Nurse stabbed to death by husband in Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: In a shocking incident, a nurse was allegedly stabbed to death by her husband at Mahura Primary School under Sadar police limits in Odisha’s Cuttack district today.

According to reports, the deceased, who was working at Mahidharapada hospital as a nurse, had been engaged in a vaccination drive at the school. Her husband reached the spot today when the vaccination drive was underway and stabbed her with a knife, resulting in her death on the spot.

Locals nabbed the accused and informed the police, following which he was detained by cops for questioning. Further investigation was underway.

Till last reports came in, the reason behind the extreme step by the man was yet to be ascertained.
