Odia actress Prakruti Mishra all set to take part in Bigg Boss Season 16

Bhubaneswar/Mumbai: Odia actress Prakruti Mishra of ‘Bitti Business Wali’ fame has been shortlisted for the popular Salman Khan-hosted show on Colors TV, a source informed today.

Previously, Prakruti took part in Zee TV’s reality show ‘India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj’. She has also bagged National Award for her performance in the film Hello Arsi.

Bigg Boss has been one of the most watched reality shows of present times. Bigg Boss Season 16 is all set to begin from 1st October, 2022. Right from host up to controversial contestants and the exciting tasks, everything has been grabbing headlines.

The reality show has been bringing something new every season for its fans.

Arjun Bijlani, Sanaya Irani, Shiny Ahuja, and Divyanka Tripathi were amongst the few celebrities who have been approached for the show, so far.

In addition, Munawar Faruqui, Shivin Narang, Madirakshi Mundle, Mohit Malik and Tina Datta are a few others who have reportedly been confirmed. However, an official announcement is awaited.

Prakruti recently hogged the limelight over her controversy with Odia co-actor Babushaan and his wife Trupti. A video of the incident had gone viral on different social media.

Subsequently, the actress filed a defamation suit of Rs 5 crore against Babushaan’s wife Trupti and his father-in-law Lalit Satpathy.

Prakruti will next share screen frame with noted actor Nana Patekar in an untitled Hindi movie. She will be seen romancing Meezaan Jaffrey in the movie.

Besides, on the work front, the actress will be seen in a women-centric movie ‘Draupadi’.
