Odia cine actor Kuna Tripathy takes charge as OFDC Chairman

Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actor Satyabrata Tripathy, popularly known as Kuna Tripathy assumed the office as the Chairman of Odisha Film Development Corporation (OFDC) here today.

He was felicitated by eminent film personality Bijay Mohanty and office employees of the OFDC.

Addressing the employees, Tripathy said, “I want names of everyone, who are working here, to be written in history. As I don’t cheat on anyone, I expect you all do the same. The scope in OFDC is high as compared to other corporations in Odisha. We are yet to show our weapons.”

“The Chief Minister of Odisha has assured and committed me to take necessary initiatives for upliftment of Odia cinema,” the actor told reporters soon after taking the charge in the office.

“Amidst Kalinga Studio row, Kuna Tripathy joined as the Chairman of OFDC. Therefore, we have a lot of expectations from him. The artists, film producers and directors are happy with him over his appointment,” said Bijay Mohanty.
