Bhubaneswar: An Army Jawan from Odisha was arrested by Rajasthan police after being caught in a honey trap of a Pakistani woman ISI agent.

Army Jawan, Vichitra Behera, currently posted in Pokhran as Sepoy, was apprehended by the CID Intelligence. He is accused of sharing secret information with a suspected Pakistani ISI agent over social media.

His arrest was confirmed by the Additional Director General, Intelligence, Rajasthan Police, on Thursday.

According to reports, the CID Intelligence had kept a vigil on Behera over his suspicious activities. During the process, the CID came to know that the Jawan was in touch with a Pakistani agent through Facebook and WhatsApp. He was allegedly sharing secret information with her and demanding for money in return.

Reports said that the accused was called to Jaipur for questioning in this connection. During interrogation, Behera had revealed that he had become friend of Pakistani woman two year ago.
