Odia TV actress alleges acid attack threat from youth; files plaint

Bhubaneswar: An Odia Television actress today lodged a complaint with the Police Commissionerate here today alleging that she has been receiving threat messages from a youth for the last couple of days.

In her complaint, the actress alleged that she has been receiving obscene photos and messages from a youth on WhatsApp for the last one week. The youth has also allegedly threatened her to upload her indecent morphed photos on social media. She further alleged that the unidentified youth is also threatening her of acid attack.

Today, the actress turned up at the office of Police Commissioner Satyajit Mohanty and informed him about the matter seeking help.

The Police Commissioner assured the actress to depute a lady cop to probe into the matter. The actress is a popular face in Odia television industry.
