Odisha: 10-YO girl dies in wall collapse following thunderstorm

Rourkela:  In a tragic incident, a minor girl died in wall collapse following thunderstorm in Jampali area under Rajgangpur police limits of Sundargarh district last night. 

The deceased has been identified as 10-year-old Amisha Soren, daughter of one Seth Soren.

Sources said soon after the wall collapsed, parents of the girl rushed out of the house while the minor got trapped inside. By the time, they rushed to rescue her, the girl had died.

Last night, heavy rain accompanied with hailstorm and squally wind lashed many parts in Rajgangpur destroying several property. Besides, several other parts of the state including Twin City Bhubaneswar and Cuttack also experienced the severe thunderstorm in wee hours today.
