Odisha: 16-year-old girl hangs self to death

Jajpur:  In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old girl allegedly hanged herself to death at Panikoili village in Jajpur district last night. However, the reason behind her suicide is yet to be ascertained.

Sources said the minor girl, who was a Plus Two student, went to sleep after having dinner last night. Today morning, her family members found her hanging from the ceiling of the house and rushed her to Jajpur district headquarters hospital (DHH) here. However, doctors declared her dead.

On receiving information, police reached the spot and began an investigation into the incident.
