Bhubaneswar: The first selection merit list for admission into Plus II courses of all three streams for the academic session 2022-23 was released today.
The first cut-off marks in Arts, Science and Commerce streams are available on official website of SAMS Odisha.
As per the merit list, Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School, Cuttack has the highest cut-off percentage of 94. 33 in Science and 84.17 in Commerce stream.
Kandakhai Higher Secondary School in Puri has topped the list in terms of highest cut-off mark in Arts followed by Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School (83.33) and Narasinghpur College, Cuttack (83.17).
In Science stream, Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Neelakantha Nagar in Berhampur has the second highest cut-off percentage of 93.20 and BJB Higher Secondary School third highest at 93.
In Commerce, Government Higher Secondary School Rourkela and BJB Higher Secondary School have the second and third highest cut-off percentage of 80.67 and 79.83, respectively.
Total 4,80,704 students had applied online, of which 4,04,400 have been selected in the first phase.
While 2,49,713 students were selected for admission into Arts stream, 1,17,653 students were selected in Science, 25,005 in Commerce, 7,001 in Sanskrit and 5,028 students have been selected for Vocational courses. Of total number of students selected for admission in different disciplines, 2,00,523 are male students and 2,03,845 are females.
Worth mentioning, admission of the applicants selected in the first round will take place from August 19 to August 25.
