Odisha +2 Admission: First selection merit list out; check details

Bhubaneswar: The merit list of first selection of students for admission into Plus II courses in various streams for the academic session 2021-22 was out today.

Total 4,35,092 students had applied online, of which 3,86,464 have been selected in the first phase.

While 2,47,906 students were selected for admission into Arts stream, 1,00,737 students were selected in Science, 24,560 in Commerce, 7,592 in Sanskrit and 5,669 students have been selected for Vocational courses. Of total number of students selected for admission in different disciplines, 1,92,959 are male students and 1,93,469 are female students.

The first cut-off marks in Arts, Science and Commerce streams are available on official website of SAMS Odisha.

Ravenshaw Junior College topped the list in terms of highest cut-off mark in the first selection in Arts, Science and Commerce streams.

As per the merit list of first selection published on website, Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School, Cuttack has the highest cut-off percentage of 82 (Gen), 66.38 (ST), 34.17 (SC) in Commerce, 91.33 (gen), 84.67 (ST), 73.5 (SC) in Science and 79.3 (Gen), 68.5 (ST), 61.33 (SC) in Arts stream.

With the publication of first selection merit list, the admission of students will commence from 6.00 PM onwards between September 14 and September 21.

The admission will be held for students selected in second phase between September 29 and October 1 after publication of second cut-off marks scheduled on September 27.

Admission will take place on October 7 for the vacant seats following admission of students in two phases.
