Odisha +2 admission: Merit list of second selection out

Bhubaneswar: The merit list of second selection for admission into +2 courses has been published today.

The second list of cut-off mark is out on official website of Student Academic Management System (SAMS) with BJB Higher Secondary School (Bhubaneswar) topping the list in Arts stream with a cut-off of 70.4 percent, while Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School (Cuttack) in Science stream and Talcher Higher Secondary School (Angul) in Commerce stream citing a cut-off percentage of 89.2 and 75.83, respectively.

The top 10 junior colleges in the Arts stream are:

  • Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar Higher Secondary School (Bhubaneswar) with cut-off of 70.4 %,
  • Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School (Cuttack) with cut-off of 70 %,
  • Narasinghpur Higher Secondary School (Cuttack) with cut-off of 68.17 %,
  • Patitapaban Higher Secondary School (Ghasipur, Keonjhar) with cut-off of 67.83 %,
  • Sailabala Women’s Higher Secondary School (Cuttack) with cut-off of 67.67 %,
  • Korua Women’s Higher Secondary School (Garadapur, Kendrapara) with cut-off of 66.5 %,
  • Rama Devi Women’s Higher Secondary School (Bhubaneswar) with cut-off of 65.83 %,
  • Jatiya Kabi Bira Kishore Government Higher Secondary School (Cuttack) with cut-off of 65.67 %,

The admission of students selected in the second selection will be held from July 15, till 5.00 pm on July 17.

The admission data of students who took admission in the second selection will be updated by the Higher Secondary Schools on July 17 in the e-Space.

The spot selection merit list will be published at 2.00 pm on July 20 after second merit list admission.

The registration of students for spot admission in the respective Higher Secondary Schools can be made at 2.00 pm on July 23. The final list of spot admission out of the list of students registered will be out at 5.00 pm on the same day.

The admission of students selected in spot selection will take place on July 25. The classes for +2 first year will commence on July 29.
