Odisha +2 exam: Answer sheet evaluation from today

Bhubaneswar: Evaluation of answer sheets of the annual +2 examinations conducted by the Odisha Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will commence from today.

The evaluation will be carried out in the first phase from April 8 to 18, while the process will continue in the second phase from April 23 to May 2.

The answer sheets will be evaluated manually at 58 centres while online evaluation will be held at 36 centres. Around 16,000 teachers have been roped in for the purpose. Mobile phones and electronic gadgets have been prohibited for the evaluators at the centres.

The results are likely to be declared by the first week of June, sources said.

The +2 examinations were held at 1091 centers across the state between March 7 and 30. As many as 3.69 lakh students were enrolled to appear for the exams.
