Odisha +2 exams not likely to be held in June

Bhubaneswar: The annual +2 examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha are not likely to be held in June this year, an official of the School & Mass Education Department said.

The examinations were earlier postponed by the state government in view of the second wave of COVID-19.

The examinations might be held in July or August if the pandemic situation in the state improves in June, the official said, adding that the Odisha Government is awaiting CBSE’s move regarding the Class-12 exams and the decision over the +2 exams will be taken accordingly.

Worth mentioning, the CHSE has already prepared answer booklets for around 3.5 lakh candidates. On the other hand, the question papers have also been finalized while printing work was pending.
