Odisha +3 admission 2022: 2nd selection merit list out; check here
Bhubaneswar: The Student Academic Management System (SAMS) Odisha has released Plus 3 second selection merit list for admission into Undergraduate (UG) courses in degree colleges for the academic session 2022.
As per the data released by SAMS Odisha, total 39,884 candidates have been selected in the second selection, of which 18,717 were boys, 21,165 were girls and 2 students were from third gender category.
While 21,041 students have been selected for the admission into various subjects in Arts stream, SAMS Odisha selected 7,707 students for Physical Science, 3,400 students for Commerce, 6,776 students for Biological Science, 537 students for Self Finance (SF) stream and 423 students for Shastri stream this year.
This year, Ravenshaw University in Cuttack has topped the list of educational institutions with the highest cut-off marks for UG admission. It has the highest cut-off percentage in 18 subjects in Arts, Science and Commerce streams for the students belonging to General category.
The unitary university has set 93.83% for the subject Zoology, 92.17% for Physics, 91.60% for Botany, 91.50% for Chemistry, 91.00
% for Geology, 90.83% for Computer Science, 90.33% for Political Science and 89.17% for Economics.
Similarly, Odisha’s premier BJB (Autonomous) College’s last cut-off mark was 91.67% for Mathematics and 81.50% for Philosophy, 80.33% for Anthropology. The college emerged as the topper in the list with the highest cut-off marks 90.40% for the subject Bio-Technology and 87.83% for Computer Science in Self Finance stream for General category.
