Odisha: 3-day meet on Range Technology begins at ITR Chandipur

Balasore: A three-day International Conference on Range Technology (ICORT) organised by the Integrated Test Range (ITR) Chandipur kicked off today.

Addressing the event, ITR Director Dr BK Das said the conference would provide a common platform to experts around the globe to interact and discuss futuristic technologies pertaining to Test Range applications.

With much larger involvement of industries and more enriched technical interaction sessions, the ICORT is all set to mark a new chapter in the history of Test Range, he added.

As many as 17 countries, including India, UK, USA, Greece, Italy, Israel, Qatar, Canada, France, South Africa, Sweden, Singapore, Russia, Germany, Denmark, New Zealand and South Korea across the globe are participating in the event.

In 2006, ITR had organised a National Conference on Range Technology, which was inaugurated by the then President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
