Odisha: 3 kids charred to death in lightning strike

Baripada: A pall of gloom descended on Baghuasole village under Chandua police limits of Mayurbhanj district after three minors, including a girl were charred to death due to lightning strike today.

Besides, over two dozen goats were also killed in the lightning strike.

According to reports, the three kid, including two aged 14 years and another 12-year-old were grazing goats in a field. They later took shelter under a tree as it started raining heavily. In the meantime, a lightning struck the tree and the trio died on the spot.

The three minors were cousins, sources added.
