Odisha: 3 senior IPS officers promoted to DG rank

Bhubaneswar: Three senior IPS officers have been promoted to the rank of Director General (DG) of police in Odisha.

A notification in this regard was issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance department today.

As per the notification, three 1990-batch IPS officers have been promoted to the rank of DG police. IPS officers Sudhanshu Sarangi and Arun Kumar Sarangi are promoted to the grade of DG police in Level-16 of the pay matrix, said the notification.

IPS officer Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, who is on central deputation, is allowed to the grade of DG of police in Level-16 of the pay matrix, added the notification.
