Odisha 5T secy visits Konark Temple, beautification of heritage site likely

Konark: After the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri and the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar, the heritage site of the Sun Temple here is likely to undergo beautification as Odisha 5T Secretary V. K. Pandian visited the temple and its peripheral areas today.

Pandian paid a surprise visit and arrived at the temple around 5 am this morning. He also visited the nearby Ring Road and Handicraft Market. The bureaucrat was reportedly apprised about the blueprint for beautification of the heritage site. He inspected various aspects of development of the temple including the urban haat and entrance gate.
