Odisha 5T secy VK Pandian reviews SCB Hospital transformation work, directs completion within stipulated time

Cuttack: Odisha 5T secretary VK Pandian today visited the SCB Medical College & Hospital here and reviewed the ongoing transformation work of the state’s premier healthcare facility.

The project is being carried out on 175 acres of land with an expenditure of Rs 3,500 crore.

Pandian emphasized on the completion of the project within the stipulated time and directed to maintain the quality of construction.

He also directed to complete the construction of clinical blocks 1 and 4 by December 2023 and early start of Dharmasala and budget hotels for accomodation of family members of patients.

As many as 13 blocks will be built for the accommodation of the faculties, doctors and other staff of the medical college & hospital. Pandian ordered to complete them by December 2023.

Later, he also reviewed the progress of the Taladanda Canal renovation and beautification project.
