Odisha: 60-yr-old man held for impregnating school girl
Jeypore: The Koraput district police have arrested a 60-year-old man for allegedly impregnating a girl student of Unniti Upper Primary Sevashram School at Phampuni in Jeypore area.
The accused has been identified as Rajendra Rath, husband of headmistress of the school. While Rath was arrested yesterday, he was forwarded to court today.

Rath had allegedly kept the victim at his wife’s official quarters during summer vacation and established physical relation with the 13-year-old girl. She was later found three-month pregnant few days ago.
Police have registered a case in this connection under sections 376(2)(n), 376(3) and 506 of IPC; section 6 of POCSO Act; and section 3(2)(v) of SC ST POA Act.
