Odisha: AAI to provide medical equipments worth Rs 1 cr to AIIMS, Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Biju Patnaik International Airport today inked an agreement with AIIMS, Bhubaneswar to provide medical equipments worth Rs 1 crore to the hospital.

Under its corporate social responsibility (CSR), the AAI will provide six ICU ventilators, two portable ventilators and two defibrillators to AIIMS, Bhubaneswar. The project will cost around Rs 1 crore and be executed in phased manner in one year

Few month back under CSR, the Airports Authority of India expressed its interest to extend medical infrastructure development worth around Rs 12 crore in the Capital hospital, Niali Morden Care Hospital , St. Johns Ambulance Centre and Akshya Patra Foundation. The AAI has already signed agreements with respective agencies to execute the project within one-two years.
