Odisha adds 1,096 COVID-19 cases; here’re district-wise figures

Bhubaneswar: Another 1,096 persons in Odisha contracted COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state’s total caseload to 9,85,827.

Of the fresh cases detected from 28 districts,637 are quarantine cases and 459 local contact cases.

Khordha district continued to report highest fresh cases with 389 persons infected with the virus. Besides, Cuttack and Balasore districts reported 92 and 77  fresh cases, respectively.

Currently, the number of active cases in the state stands at 12,480.
