Bhubaneswar: Another 1220 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state’s total caseload to 3,05,000.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 703 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 517 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Khordha recorded highest 134 fresh cases followed by Sundargarh (119) and Cuttack (96).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 12,341 and recovered cases at 2,91,137.
