Bhubaneswar: As many as 1474 COVID-19 cases were detected in Odisha in the last 24 hours, following which the state's total caseload rose to 2,95,889.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 855 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 619 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Khordha recorded highest 175 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (120) and Sundargarh (104).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 13,919. Besides, 2,80,553 persons have so far recovered from the disease so far.
