Odisha adds 1615 more COVID-19 cases with 2.09% TPR; 65 more succumb to virus

Bhubaneswar: As many as 1615 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 76946 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 2.09%.

Khurda district reported highest 442 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (229) and Puri (123).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 974132 with 17262 active cases.

The Health Department also reported 65 more deaths due to COVID-19 as the toll surged to 5768. Khurda district recorded highest nine fatalities.
