Odisha adds 1734 new COVID cases, Khordha reports highest

Bhubaneswar: Number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha mounted to 45927 as 1734  more persons from 29 districts tested positive for the virus, official sources said today.

Out of the 1734  cases, 1075 were detected in quarantine while 659 are local contact cases. Khordha district reported the highest number of cases as it added 342 fresh cases to its tally.

With this, the number of active cases in the state rose to 15365 while 30241 persons have recovered from the disease so far.
