Bhubaneswar: Odisha's COVID-19 tally today further surged to 3,33,127 after 178 more persons in the state tested positive for the deadly virus in last 24 hours. Â
Of the total fresh cases detected from 22 districts, 103 have been reported from different quarantine centres while 75 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Sundargarh recorded highest 30 fresh cases followed by Sambalpur (24) and Jharsuguda (23).Â
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 2,087 and recovered cases at 3,29,088.
