Odisha adds 225 new COVID-19 infections in last 24 hrs

Bhubaneswar: Another 225 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state’s total caseload to 3,32,331.

Of the total fresh cases detected from 25 districts, 131 have been reported from different quarantine centres while 94 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.

Sundargarh district recorded highest 38 fresh cases followed by Bargarh and Balangir with 16 cases each.

Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 2,113 and recovered cases at 3,28,271.
