Bhubaneswar: A spike of 387 new COVID-19 infections have been detected in Odisha in the last 24 hours. Following this, the state’s total caseload surged to 3,23,029.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 30 districts, 220 have been reported from different quarantine centres while 167 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Sundargarh recorded highest 58 fresh cases followed by Khordha (51) and Angul with (27).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 3,308 and recovered cases at 3,17,870.
