Odisha adds 39 more deaths to COVID-19 toll

Bhubaneswar: Odisha added 39 more deaths to State’s COVID-19 toll that surged to 3,887 so far.

“Regret to inform the demise of thirty nine numbers of Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department today.

The fresh 39 fatalities were reported from 11 districts. While Khordha district continues to be in top position with the highest 9 single-day deaths, 5 each succumbed to the virus in Bargarh, Cuttack and Nayagarh districts.

Three each died in Sambalpur and Sundargarh districts, 2 each in Ganjam, Kendrapara, Mayurbhanj and Sonepur districts. One patient died of the disease in Puri district in last 24 hours.

1.A 55 years old Female of Baragarh District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

2.A 47 years old Female of Baragarh District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

5.A 57 years old Female of Baragarh District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

6.A 42 years old Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

7.A 42 years old Female of Bhubaneswar.

8.A 63 years old Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypertension.

9.A 46 years old Male of Bhubaneswar.

10.A 59 years old Female of Bhubaneswar.

11.A 49 years old Male of Cuttack District.

12.A 60 years old Female of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Hytpertension.

13.A 54 years old Male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Hytpertension.
